We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Process Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional with a keen understanding of the scientific industry and a passion for innovation. As a Permanent Process Technician, you will play an integral role in our operations, ensuring the smooth running of our injection molding processes and equipment. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, contribute to the development of groundbreaking scientific solutions, and make a significant impact on our organization.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Process Technician, your responsibilities will include:
1. Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molding equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
2. Implementing and monitoring the injection molding process, making necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and consistency.
3. Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and improve injection molding processes and methodologies.
4. Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on injection molding equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
5. Documenting all process changes, updates, and relevant information for future reference and continuous improvement.
6. Ensuring compliance with all safety protocols, industry regulations, and company standards.
7. Training and mentoring junior staff members on injection molding processes and equipment operation.
8. Participating in cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Process Technician position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Technician or a similar role in the scientific industry.
2. Extensive hands-on experience with injection molding processes and injection molding equipment.
3. A strong understanding of scientific principles and methodologies related to injection molding.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively convey complex information to a diverse range of stakeholders.
7. Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
8. Proven ability to train and mentor junior staff members.
9. A degree in a relevant scientific or technical field is preferred.
