About the Job
Under general supervision, Maintenance Technicians safely perform advanced and expert level diagnoses, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning in compliance with company policies. Performs advanced-level functions in the maintenance and repair of the facility, including but not limited to: building, grounds, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc.
Shift: Position is available on 3rd shift - Sunday through Wednesday 7:45pm to 6:15am.
Candidates must be available to work frequent overtime.
Pay Range: $18 - $26/hr plus $1 differential for off shifts paid on a weekly basis. Pay may vary based on qualifications and experience. PLUS $1000 NEW HIRE SIGN ON BONUS!
QualificationsIdeal candidates will be well versed in PLC’s, VFD & servo drive troubleshooting, electrical circuitry, basic wiring and automatic controls, as well as knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics as relates to production machinery.
Qualifications: (some of these skills can be acquired with On the Job Training)
- Computer literate
- Conduit and wiring equipment
- Threading and grooving piping
- Reading wiring diagrams
- Testing motors (single and three phase)
- Replacement of parts on existing equipment
- Alignments – Bearings, shafts, sprockets, belts, chains, and pulleys
- VFD basic setup
- Infrared scanning
- An understanding of Compressed Air Systems
- An understanding of Dust Collection Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in PC integrated software, software/hardware installations, and system backups.
- Associates degree in electronics/electricity, industrial maintenance, or 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Team player, self motivated, and a problem solver for a fast paced, highly automated facility.
