3D Engineer at The Fountain Group

My name is David, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group.  We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­3D Engineer for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in ­­West Point, PA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• Pay: $32.37
• Operate 3D printers, including loading new material and print files
• Post process parts, including support removal, washing parts utilizing mostly automated equipment, and sanding, filing as needed
• Utilize online tools to track the life cycle of the projects and print queue
• Utilize mostly in-person tools, such as white boards or magnets, to track printer statuses, especially when repairs or a modification is required
• Work with both designer and end-user to assemble projects as required and perform functional tests for prototypes
• Participate in routine tasks performed by all lab members, such as receiving shipments and breaking down packaging, waste removal, and clean up hour on Fridays
• Depending on the existing experience and knowledge of candidate and their interest, additional duties could be assigned, such as:
• Repairing or performing upgrades on 3D printers

Qualifications:

Required

• Education- High school or equivalent
• Knowledge of 3D printing
• Hands-on experience with fabrication or repair techniques (such as wood working, laser cutting, plumbing, building computers)

Preferred:

• Owns a hobby 3D printer at home
• Knows a 3D CAD program, such as Fusion360, Solidworks, TinkerCAD, OnShape, Rhino3D
