About the Job
This role manages workflow on the production floor to meet daily customer goals, focusing on scheduling, training, monitoring workforce performance, quality audits, and reporting equipment issues. The position spends 80% of the time on the floor and 20% on administrative tasks!
2nd Shift Schedule: 3:30pm-12:00am ; one weekend off a month; rotating other weekend
Pay range: $25/hr-$30/hr (depending on experience)
Location: 100% onsite - Saint Paul
Type: Direct Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing 30-40 production associates daily
- Create and post staffing sheets; verify and correct employee time punches.
- Manage attendance, approve time off requests, and maintain union vacation calendar.
- Order temporary staff as needed and complete injury reports.
- Ensure a safe, clean work environment and proper equipment usage.
- Monitor production, inventory, and adjust as necessary.
- Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Conduct quality audits and complete production reports.
- Provide training on equipment use, safety, ergonomics, and procedures.
- Apply LEAN principles, report equipment issues to engineering, and assist with HR conflict resolution.
