We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with excellent leadership skills and a strong background in manufacturing production. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, making sure that production is cost-effective, products are produced on time for distributors, and that they are of good quality. You will also be involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage. Job Details

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.
Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime.
Commit to plant safety procedures.
Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment for at least 3 years.
Deep knowledge of production management and understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
Outstanding communication ability and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to effectively problem-solve and maintain a high level of accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
Strong team-building, decision-making, and people management skills.
Understanding of budgeting and performance management.
Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a must.
BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferred.
Certification of Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) will be considered a plus.
