About the Job
Overview:
The Process Technician monitors and maintainsa variety of production processes and equipment of moderate complexity to ensure efficient and high-quality output.Troubleshootstechnical issues and implements process improvements.
Responsibilities:- Sets up, operates, and monitors production equipment and processes to maximize productivity.
- Performs audits and ensures adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Performs root cause analysis and troubleshooting on equipment and processes.
- Adjusts machine settings and process parameters as needed.
- Records production data and maintainsaccurate logs.
- Collaborates with team members to optimize production efficiency.
- Identifies and reports any issues or deviations in the production process.
- Assists in implementing process improvements and new technologies and machinery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Requirements
- Basic knowledge of assigned production processes and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
- Attention to detail and quality focus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
Experience Requirements
- Some prior experience or training in fabrication preferred but not required.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
- Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
- Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
- Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
- May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
