Press Operator, up to $23/hr, New Boston, MI

Qualifications:
- Has experience operating large presses (600+ ton) in a steel manufacturing environment.
- Has High School Diploma or GED.
- Able to read a tape measurer.
Skills:
- Ability to drive a Hi-Lo.
- Ability to work on feet all day.
- Ability to take constructive criticism.
- Read and understand work instructions.
For this position, employees will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all press line associates and maintaining the quality of the material produced in compliance with customer requirements, verify job specification requirements before loading a coil on the line, inspect the quality of the material being processed, including blanks, short feeds, burr condition, and correct packaging of material and other duties as needed.
