Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Manufacturing Team Lead - 2nd Shift to oversee daily operations on our production floor. This role is critical in ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Location: Broadview, IL
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire Position

Pay Range: $25.00-30.00/hour, depending on experience

2nd Shift - Starting time at 2:00/2:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily operations of the production floor to meet schedules and deadlines.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and communicate performance expectations to the team.
Ensure compliance with quality control measures and production standards.
Train and mentor team members, ensuring competency in their roles.
Maintain accurate records of production data, materials, and deviations using Plex ERP.
Enforce safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
Collaborate with other Team Leads and departments to coordinate equipment availability, raw materials, and production goals.
Support and implement Lean Manufacturing concepts to drive continuous improvement.

Additional Responsibilities:

Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
Provide real-time updates to management and assist with supply orders as needed.
Address complaints, resolve problems, and take corrective actions as required.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience as a team lead in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to maintain efficient and high-quality output under pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate alternative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Familiarity with TS standards and Plex ERP software.
Forklift certification.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/bend for up to 8 hours.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moving parts, hot surfaces, and noise.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Authority to make decisions regarding production, including start/stop operations for quality or safety concerns.
Participate in hiring, training, and performance management, including disciplinary actions.
