As a Permanent Human Resources Representative in the manufacturing industry, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong HR background, ideally within the manufacturing sector, and a passion for implementing innovative HR strategies and conducting effective training programs.
Responsibilities:
Your primary role will be to manage all HR-related functions within the organization, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compensation. You will work closely with management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with state and federal regulations and align with the company's strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing the recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
2. Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
3. Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
4. Managing the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
5. Overseeing the performance management process, including conducting performance reviews.
6. Coordinating and conducting training programs for employees to improve skills and knowledge.
7. Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
8. Managing compensation and benefits plans.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.
Key qualifications include:
1. Proven experience as a Human Resources Representative or similar role.
2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and best practices.
4. Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting.
5. Excellent understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
6. Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
7. Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus.
8. Excellent communication and people skills.
9. Aptitude in problem-solving.
10. Strong ability to implement and manage training programs.
11. Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
