We are seeking an experienced Production Compounder to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our production processes, ensuring that our products are made to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to our company's success.
Responsibilities:
1. Accurately weigh and measure raw materials for product manufacturing.
2. Operate and maintain compounding and blending equipment to produce batches according to established procedures and guidelines.
3. Read, interpret, and create batch records to ensure accurate production and quality control.
4. Perform sampling of raw materials and finished products for quality testing.
5. Mix ingredients to create compounds for production, ensuring adherence to formula specifications.
6. Monitor production processes, making adjustments as needed to ensure product quality and consistency.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with all safety and environmental policies.
8. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Control, Production, and R&D, to meet production schedules and objectives.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in blending, compounding, and mixing in a manufacturing setting.
3. Demonstrated ability to read and create batch records.
4. Proficient in material weighing and sampling.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
8. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within the manufacturing industry.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field is a plus.
