About the Job
Summary: Seeking a 2nd shift Associate Test Engineer with experience in medical device product development and proficiency in executing system tests, authoring test reports, and utilizing lab equipment.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of one year's experience in medical device product development or equivalent.

Knowledge of creating test methods for verifying product requirements.

Familiarity with basic statistics and use of Minitab.

Experience using Instron mechanical tester, oscilloscope, force gauges, and LabVIEW.
Responsibilities:

Execute and document System tests.

Author Test Reports and route documents for approval.

Create quality and safety related documentation to support validity of test.

Communicate test related activities and results with multi-disciplinary team members.

Perform gauge repeatability and reproducibility studies.

Provide input to engineers to assist in the development of test protocols and prototype builds.

Perform mechanical and electrical testing to evaluate new and existing products.

Generate and analyze test data, report results per departmental procedures.

Prepare and operate various lab equipment such as Instron mechanical testers, visual inspection tools, autoclaves etc.
Preferred Skills:
-
Recent BSEE/Biomedical/ME graduate with an internship in Medical device field is preferred.

Robotics experience is a plus.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
