We are hiring an Electrician to help maintain the equipment that produces our delicious Libby's Vienna Sausages, VanCamps Baked Beans, Healthy Choice Soups, Hunt's Manwich, Hunt's Spaghetti Sauces and so much more... at our Archbold, OH manufacturing facility. You will report to a Maintenance Supervisor and join a team of 500 at our plant including over 50 maintenance members.
Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, approx. 2:50p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Location: 901 Stryker St., Archbold, OH 43502 (You will work onsite at a production facility #LI-Onsite)
Hourly Rate: Up to 31.92 an hour depending on experience
- What Impact Will You Have On Our Business?
- You will install and repair the electrical and electronic systems of the facility and machinery according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.
- You will review a work schedule, check equipment and supplies and prepare for operations.
- You will install and maintain all types of electrical equipment, switch gears, lighting panels, new equipment, and tools
- You will plan proper operational repair work sequences and minimize production delays.
- You will perform preventative maintenance tasks on electrical and production equipment.
- You will troubleshoot and maintain control systems (PLC).
- You will maintain lighting systems.
- You will install conduits and electrical boxes, pull wires and ties to relocated machinery, connect power, and perform electrical checks.
- You will repair and replace old conduits, wiring, switches, pressure alarms, fuses, indicators, solenoids, breaker panels, motors, heat tracing circuits, ballasts, starters, capacitors, and transformers as they are needed.
- You will perform scheduled maintenance responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
- You will test parts, assemblies, equipment, and systems for proper operation, making all necessary adjustments and record all modifications.
- You will check specifications according to blueprints and schematics for all new equipment installations.
- You will assist all trades with repairs, replacements, adjustments, modifications to equipment, machinery, wiring.
- Do You Have What It Takes:
- At least 3 years' maintenance experience in an industrial setting preferably in the food industry.
