Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the coordination of grants as it relates to submitting invoices, tracking payments, verifying patient billing episodes, submitting required reports and working with various payer online systems.
Essential Functions:
* Submit invoices by the due dates as set forth by the payers.
* Track and review payments for invoices submitted to verify that invoices were paid corectly.
* Monitor the Grant Administration email daily to view the different requests that come through especially for those requests for billing episode changes.
* Submit required reports to payers in support of invoicing.
* Submit required performance measure reports as requested y the payers.
* Provide treatment center training on payer requirements as needed.
* Offer support to Revenue Management requests as needed.
* Create detailed notes in the system to reflect all actions performed on the account.
* Review unbilled reports monthly to make sure that all services that can be billed have been billed.
* Maintain confidentiality and safeguard the operations of the business.
* Keep lines of communication open with the Treatment Centers to ensure individualized goals are met.
* Adheres to the service policy and principle of New Season.
* Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Licensure/Certification: High School Diploma or GED.
Required Knowledge: The candidate will have knowledge of healthcare terminology. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of medical insurances (Medicare, HMO's, PPO's, commercial, hospital billing, and collection process. Banking, accounting, and math principles.
Experience Required: The candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years of previous registration, billing and collections, and financial counseling experience. Strong customer/ patient service background.
Skill and Ability: The position will require proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Google Business Suite applications, and the internet. Ability to use logic in determining documents, reading, and following written and oral instructions. Good people skills for building relationships with colleagues at all levels. Good written skills. Must have good organizational and computer skills. Ability to be detailed oriented.
