26449 - Field Service Engineer - Chicago - Life Search Technologies

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer for the Midwest territory to be based within an hour from O'Hare Airport. This position will be responsible for trouble shooting, repair, and maintenance of analytical instrumentation. Will have direct customer interaction, conduct training, and refurbish instruments.

Minimum Requirements include:

• B.S. Degree (chemistry preferred) or Associates Degree with two years of related experience 
• 2 -4 years of Field Service experience
• Strong math skills, ability to read a schematic, & understand a wide variety of technical instructions related to the position
• Hands-on experience with Mass Spec, GC, & LCMS
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. & move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel 75% overnight to Biotech, Pharma, and other closely related industrial clients
