26403 - Territory Manager - Maryland - Life Search Technologies

We are currently looking for a Technical Territory Sales Representative to be based in Maryland. NO PREVIOUS SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. This Sales Representative will be responsible to call on customers within the discovery phase of research or customers establishing clinical trials. They will have a strong understanding of molecular biology techniques and enjoy a technical sale. They will be responsible for generating new sales as well as expanding existing client base.

Job requirements:

• BA/BS degree in the Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related field)
• Advanced degree a plus
• A PLUS – Life Science sales experience
• If no sales, must have a strong technical background in viral vectors, vector packing, DNA cloning, plasmids, AAV packing, virus packing, library construction, molecular biology, etc.
• Must be a self-starter, go-getter with a strong desire to get into a scientific sales role
• Highly motivated, independent, and a strong desire to succeed
• Ability to speak with customers on a technical level
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with a high degree of independence, yet work well in a team
• Based near Baltimore, MD (DC, MD, Northern VA)
