About the Role & Program
Join us for the opportunity to intern with the 20th Studio Production and Post-Productions teams. 20th is a prominent television studio whose shows have included: ABBOTT ELEMENTARY, ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING, NOBODY WANTS THIS, DOCTOR ODYSSEY, HIGH POTENTIAL, AMERICAN HORROR STORY and many more. We encourage all members to work together and have fun! If selected for the role, you will report directly to the Manager, 20th Studio Production.
What You Will Do
You will assist the team as they manage pilots and series in various stages of development. You will gain a closer look into the logistical development and daily maintenance of shows. This opportunity can lend itself to a brief show-level experience and one-on-one time with 20th Studio executives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Learning the day-to-day process of managing production & post-production on series from the corporate side of the business through development, prep, production and post-production.
+ Get familiar with and maintain production related documents required for filming.
+ Opportunity to work with the Studio Coordinators, Production and Post-Production Executives, and shadow specific projects.
+ Develop and present, with guidance from the intern team, a special project to the Production and Post-Production Executives and Coordinators at the completion of the internship.
+ Attend and help set up internal studio meetings and meetings with our productions.
+ Desk coverage: answering phones, managing schedules, scheduling meetings as needed.
+ Administrative and office duties including ordering supplies, processing Start Paperwork, general document distribution, and maintaining production documents.
Required Qualifications & Skills
+ Experience using MS Office Suite
+ Prior internship or job experience in an office environment
+ Strong curiosity in the Television and the Entertainment Industry
+ A passion for production and post-production
+ Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once
+ A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
+ Previous internship experience within a related field
Education
+ Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
+ A student studying in their senior year or a recent graduate within 6 months of graduation date
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
+ Be at least 18 years of age
+ Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
+ Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
+ Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
+ This internship is a remote position and requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
+ The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025
+ Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
+ Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Los Angeles, CA area
+ Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
