Job Summary
PSEG is looking for an Intern for the Managed Accounts (Business Customer Solutions).
Managed Accounts department is responsible for the relationship management for PSE&G's largest customers throughout our total service territory. This group manages over 500 customer relationships as a first point of contact. This group works with internal stakeholders including electric & gas distribution, inside & outside plant construction, billing, collections, metering, and energy efficiency departments to resolve large customer issues. This position would support the Customer Advisors who directly manage these customers and act as Trusted Energy Advisors.
This position will be Hybrid.
Job Responsibilities
Assignments will include but not limited to:
• This position will support PSE&G's Business Customer Solutions Team for Managed Accounts as a support function.
• This position will specifically support BCS's Managed Accounts Team including analytical responsibilities, reviewing/developing process documentation, assisting with Salesforce reporting, and reviewing and revising various day to day processes and procedures for large industrial and commercial customers.
• This position would have responsibility for identifying opportunities to drive large customer satisfaction.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required Education/Sklls: The successful candidate(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related degree and graduating between December 2025 and May 2028. Students graduating in May/June 2025 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2025. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent. Candidates must have completed freshman level course work for consideration.
Because this position will require traveling to various PSEG locations, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required.
Preferred:
• 3.0 GPA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, data analysis, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint (e.g., creating presentations, visual storytelling).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no medical benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the duration of the summer internship. We are targeting currently enrolled/matriculating students that are able to commute to their designated work location as needed. Housing, transportation, and immigration support will not be provided in association with these positions.
