Job Description

Develop and scale-up process in bioreactors with E2E solutions for large-scale processes across Cell Therapy and Viral Vector programs and applications, as well as integrating PAT and model-based Automated Process Control implementations with bioreactors.

How You Will Contribute:

• The bioreactor process intern will be responsible for operating bioreactors to further develop and characterize the cell therapy bioreactor platform, execute PAT (process analytics technologies) evaluation studies, and support process development.
• The intern will be expected to become familiar with the cell therapy process as a whole and will take these learnings to plan and conduct experiments.
  

Internship Development Opportunities:

Job Requirements:

• This is an in-person position located in Cambridge, MA
• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Engineering field
• Familiarity/proficiency with aseptic techniques and cell cultures

Internship Eligibility

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
• The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 22nd) or (June 16th - August 29th)
  • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
• Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates

• Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

For Location:

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
