Our summer internship programs are intended for motivated, passionate students and recent alum who want exposure into the business side of the creative and performing arts, whether that entails supporting the day-to-day money management of a film producer or double-checking the residuals of a songwriter. About the Summer Programs
GRF's 10-week summer placement (June 16-August 22, 2025) in Century City (CA), Encino (CA), White Plains (NY), Manhattan (NY), Wilmington (DE) and Nashville (TN) is designed to give you hands-on experience in the areas of entertainment financial services, music royalties services, or information technology.
Interns who successfully complete the internship program are given priority consideration for available opportunities within the Firm. If you are hired as a full-time employee after your internship, you become eligible for our benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision plans, 401(k), CPA incentives, and much more!
The Business Management internship offers training and development in financial management for the entertainment industry. Business Management is responsible for managing the full range of bookkeeping and accounting services for our high-profile clients. This department requires strong attention to detail, organization and time management.

The Business Management internship offers training and development in financial management for the entertainment industry. Business Management is responsible for managing the full range of bookkeeping and accounting services for our high-profile clients. This department requires strong attention to detail, organization and time management.
- Post journal entries for accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare various financial statements
- Support assigned team(s) with data organization, research, shared resources, etc.
- Assist with clients projects and requests
- Assist on projects related to compliance audits (i.e tours, film and TV distribution, merch)
- Use Excel for data manipulation and clean-up (i.e. pivot tables, macros, vlookup and xlookup, VBA)
- Support the Firm's record label and publishing services
- Prepare reports and schedules
- Assist with helpdesk tasks and ticketing system
- Support small- and large-scale projects (i.e., implementations, migrations, troubleshooting)
- Support team members with research, testing, policy drafting, compliance, etc.
What We Look For
- A genuine interest in the work - direct experience is a plus, but not required
- Well-rounded interpersonal or "soft" skills, including strong communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
- Able to maintain a level-head and professional demeanor when interacting with high-profile clients
- Strong desire to learn from those around you
- A natural drive to produce high-quality work, both in a team and independently.
Additional Qualifications
- Enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in a Bachelor's program, or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's program (within the past 6 months)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Work, Outlook)
- Reliable transportation
- Full-time availability during standard business hours for the duration of program
