About the Job
The Related Ross Summer Analyst will be responsible for supporting all aspects of a development project including: financial analysis and modeling, due diligence, zoning, legal oversight, budgeting, design, construction, acquisition, project management and leasing.
- Perform financial analysis and due diligence for new investment opportunities
- Assist with all aspects of development: financing, entitlement / government approvals, public relations, design, leasing / marketing, and construction
- Support the team in preparing business plans, including annual operating plans, financial forecasts and strategic plans
- Monitor construction costs, budgeting, and the timeline of deliverables
- Perform research and analysis to benchmark trends in target markets by tracking rents, sales per SF, operating costs, competitive supply and expansion activity
- Minimize exposure and risk on various projects
Related Ross’ Summer Analyst Program aims to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. To be considered for the 2025 Related Ross Summer Analyst program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Current undergraduate junior with a target graduation date between December 2025- Spring 2026
- A strong passion for real estate development
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; expertise with excel
- Exhibits a strong understanding of technical skills and job specific knowledge
- Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Self-Starter with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and challenges
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenged in a dynamic environment
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate Finance or Real Estate Development
- Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
