2024 Summer Internships at Southeastern Grocers

Southeastern Grocers is looking for highly motivated, organized and creative interns for our exciting 2024 summer program at our Jacksonville Store Support Center!

Our interns will have the opportunity to learn, grow and contribute to our people-first grocery retail business. Our summer interns work with leaders from across our organization to plan and execute project that will directly contribute to the success and growth of SEG! Our program offers personal and professional development opportunities, leadership networking and the opportunity to build life-long friendships with fellow career-minded interns.

The Deets:

• An in-person, paid 12-week program, starting in mid-May, at our Jacksonville, FL Store Support Center.
• Our summer internship program is geared towards rising college juniors and seniors with a GPA of at least 3.0.

*** PROJECT REQUIREMENTS****

Education: This role requires a candidate who is majoring in Digital Marketing is ideal, but software development (generally Computer Science) would work as well. Interest in AI is a real plus.Communication Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.  Will need to Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) and Recommend features we could implement in oemerging opportunities. Collaborate with AI resources in IT to understand and align with their plans for the technology.Technical Skills:App and Web Competitive Analysis, Delivery of ready-to-work Agile Features for app and/or web dev teamwill be written in partnership with Product Managers for those channels.Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members across different departments.

Details- How to use emerging technologies like AI on our apps and websites. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the features and functionalities of our mobile app and website in comparison to key competitors and others in the retail space.Goal- Presentation of the functionalities or emerging technologies in the retail space that are most valuable for us to pursue.
