2024-2025 - Athletics - Upper School Assistant Track Coach - Isidore Newman School

Isidore Newman School is searching for an Upper School Assistant Track coach who has expertise in throws and/or sprints and who is passionate about the sport of Track & Field.

The candidate should be proficient in teaching the technical aspects and training principles in either of those two disciplines. The candidate should be well versed in the best practices used for instruction, skill development, and motivation. A strong candidate would be willing to enter a collaborative staff that openly shares thoughts and opinions and work together to provide the best possible learning environment for a highly competitive team. This coach will be someone who prides themselves on being fundamentally sound while producing students of the sport who are not only dedicated to their teammates, but their coach, program, and school as well. We are searching for an assistant coach who is philosophically aligned with the mission of the school and more specifically, a coach who is committed to building strong relationships with players, coaches and parents while also holding our student athletes and coaches to very high expectations.

This is a seasonal, part-time position that would begin in early January and extend through the first weekend in May.
