NSC Staffing is current hiring for 1st Shift Maintenance Technician in Peru, IN.

We are seeking a dedicated, career-oriented Maintenance Technician who is ready to affect change and set things in motion in our Peru, IN manufacturing facility.
A typical “Day-in-the Life” involves following preventative maintenance plans for equipment as scheduled and troubleshooting and repairing process equipment; supporting 5S implementation through program participation and project work as well as performing facility maintenance as necessary.
Candidate “Must Haves”:

Shift: Monday through Friday
Shift 1 = 7am-3:30pm. Able/willing to work overtime if needed.

Candidate “Must Haves”:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree or certification in a technical discipline or military equivalent.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience troubleshooting and maintaining complex process equipment.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic repairs and maintenance on process/automated equipment.
- Knowledge and or experience working with engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Knowledge of relevant OSHA safety standards.
- Strong communication, mechanical and mathematic skills.
- Ability and knowledge required to work safely with various hazardous materials, and chemicals.
Candidate “Nice to Haves”:
- Experience working in an ISO-certified environment
- Skilled in 5S and other Lean manufacturing principles
