$6,000 Hiring Bonus – Maintenance Mechanic
Location – Wilmington, MA
Pay Rate- $25.75 – $35.75 an hour (DOE) + Diff 
Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM

Job Overview:

Footbridge is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair high-speed automated production equipment. This role requires mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance (PM), overhauls, and repairs.
• Operate shop tools, including cutting, grinding, drill presses, welding, and basic machining.
• Perform repairs on electric motors and controls (if qualified).
• Utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to complete work orders, document tasks, and manage parts.
• Read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Follow safety protocols such as lockout/tagout (LOTO).
• Work in varying conditions, including extreme heat, cold, humidity, and wet environments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical college education or 2 years of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must be 18 years or older.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay rate is dependent on experience and shift 
• Expected hours: No less than 40 hours per week
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts with potential overtime, Monday to Friday. Weekends as needed.
