19K M1 Armor Crewman AKA Tank Operator (Enlistment Required) - US Army

Job Overview:

Join our team as a Tank Operator, where you'll become an expert at operating and maintaining a M1 Abrams Tank. You will work as member of a collaborative unit to operate in concert to maneuver complex terrain while neutralize potential threats. Your role includes utilizing weapons operations, conducting basic maintenance, ammunition handling, and operate communications systems. Your efforts will contribute to national defense efforts globally.

Requirements:

Attend a 22-week paid training program to gain skills and certifications in weapons operations, handling ammunition, intelligence reporting, geospatial analysis, maintenance operations, and heavy equipment operations.

Advanced certifications require additional full funded training programs.
