About the Job
Qualitest is seeking Junior SAP Developers to join our Center of Excellence (COE) / Enterprise SAP Development team. In this role, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of SAP solutions, ensuring the technical integrity of our systems while working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders. This hands-on technical role will involve customizing, enhancing, and supporting various SAP modules, including FICO, SD, and MM.
As part of an Application Management Services (AMS) framework, you will help drive continuous improvement in large-scale SAP environments (ECC6/S/4HANA) by providing incident resolution, technical support, and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Development & Customization:
- Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP solutions using ABAP and technologies such as Fiori/UI5.
- Develop RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Conduct unit testing and support integration testing for all developments, ensuring quality and accuracy.
2. AMS Support & Incident Resolution:
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for SAP applications within the AMS framework.
- Resolve incidents and service requests related to SAP modules (FICO, SD, MM) in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and other systems.
3. System Enhancements & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and propose opportunities for process optimization and system improvements in SAP.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as part of regular maintenance activities.
- Stay up to date on emerging SAP technologies (e.g., S/4HANA) and contribute to applying innovative solutions.
4. Documentation & Code Reviews:
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for all developments, including design specifications, test cases, and implementation guides.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Manage version control of code changes using appropriate tools and processes.
5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication:
- Work closely with business users to understand their needs and provide effective technical solutions.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, functional consultants, and team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Engage in client meetings to address ongoing support needs or new development requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in SAP development, focusing on ABAP programming.
- Experience with Fiori/UI5 is highly desirable.
- Proven experience providing support for large-scale SAP implementations within an AMS environment (ECC6/S/4HANA).
- Strong understanding of SAP modules such as FICO, SD, MM, and their integration points.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of additional SAP modules like PP, QM, WM, or HR.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
