#16064 - Senior SAP Developer - Qualitest Group

Qualitest is seeking experienced Senior SAP Developers to join our growing Enterprise team in a remote position.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality SAP solutions within the Application Management Services (AMS) framework. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and developers to ensure the seamless delivery of customizations, enhancements, and support for SAP applications. This is a key role in maintaining the technical integrity of SAP systems and driving continuous improvement across a variety of SAP modules such as FICO, SD, MM, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Customization:

• Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP solutions using ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and other SAP technologies.
• Develop RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) based on detailed business requirements.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
• Perform unit testing and support integration testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions.

AMS Support & Incident Resolution:

• Provide timely technical support for SAP systems within the AMS framework, ensuring effective resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex issues within SAP modules (e.g., FICO, SD, MM) and develop sustainable solutions.
• Ensure all incidents are resolved in alignment with agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of different SAP modules and systems.

System Enhancements & Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for system improvements and optimize existing SAP processes to enhance performance.
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring that these are implemented effectively and efficiently.
• Stay up to date with emerging SAP technologies (e.g., S/4HANA) and apply new techniques or tools to drive innovation.

Documentation & Code Reviews:

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, development processes, and test cases.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Maintain version control for all code changes and ensure that proper documentation is available for all developments.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication:

• Engage with business users to understand their needs, offering technical insights and solutions that support business goals.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, functional consultants, and team members to ensure successful project delivery.
• Actively participate in client meetings to discuss support issues, new requirements, or ongoing development work.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP development, focusing on ABAP programming.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale SAP implementations (ECC6/S/4HANA) within an AMS framework.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules such as FICO, SD, MM, and their integration points within the SAP landscape.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

1. Experience: A minimum of 6 years in SAP development with expertise in ABAP. Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 is a strong plus.
2. AMS Environment: Proven track record of working in an AMS setting, supporting large-scale SAP environments (ECC6/S/4HANA).
3. SAP Modules: Deep understanding of SAP functional modules (FICO, SD, MM) and their integration within SAP systems.
