Salary: $250,000 - $500,000 per year
A bit about us:
A top accounting consulting and advisory firm is looking for their next Tax Partner to develop and expand their tax advisory practice. This Director will provide various accounting advisory services including, but not limited to, IPO and M&A Readiness, CFO Advisory, SEC Compliance & Financial Reporting, Transaction Advisory, Technical Accounting Research & Position Papers, and addressing the need for continuous improvement and optimization of the finance and accounting functions. In addition, the ideal candidate has a strong desire to build and maintain a book of business. To succeed in this role, you should also have strong coaching and team management skills, as well as the desire to mentor staff. The Partner role does require business development/networking activity, as well.
This role is REMOTE but does require the candidate to live within driving distance of one of the following cities to go into the office 1 or 2 times a month or to visit with clients. Cities include: Boston, New York City, Tampa, Philadelphia, Tysons Corner, Denver.
This Tax Partner Lead the charge on the build out and growth of this firm’s Tax Advisory practice by developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans in accordance with the firm’s mission and vision and the commitment to always act as a trusted partner to our clients

Job Details
Core Responsibilities:
- Elevate the company Brand by demonstrating thought leadership and embracing our marketing and sales programs
- Work with the team to manage multiple concurrent engagements within the Tax Advisory practice which provides a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and tax provision implications of our clients
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of complex Tax concepts to support Firm initiatives and development opportunities with internal knowledge sharing and panel discussions
- Complete tax diligence procedures and collaborate with the company’s M&A Advisory team on financial due diligence project
- Evaluate the opportunity for tax software implementation and tax automation efforts
- Build national relationships to further expand the company Brand in developing business and revenue for the Firm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
- CPA Certification required
- 12+ years of relative technical experience; professional services experience highly preferred
- Strong leadership, business development, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring skills
